What a Sourcing Request Actually Costs You

A sourcing request is free to send, on every plan, up to ten a month, with an answer within 30 days either way. You only pay at one point: when you want to connect with a supplier we've found. On the free account that's a one-time $99 reveal (name, address, and email); on a paid plan it's one unlock (which adds the supplier's full live catalog). You never pay to search, to see the numbers, or to submit the request.
So, the request is free, and most people's next question is what it costs elsewhere.
That's fair to ask. Plenty of tools say "free" and then charge you the moment you try to do anything useful. This one has a cost too, but it comes at one clear point, and you'll always see it coming. Here's what's free, what you pay for, and why it works that way, in plain numbers.
What's Free: 10 Requests a Month, Every Plan
Sending a request costs nothing. Not on the free account, not on any plan.
You get ten requests a month. You tell us the product, the brand, and a link if you have one. Our team goes and does the outreach to find a verified distributor who carries it. You hear back within 30 days, either way, whether we found someone or not. None of that costs you a cent.
So the request itself is genuinely free. You're not paying us to go looking. You're not paying to find out if the product can even be sourced. That part is on us.
Where the Cost Comes In: Connecting With the Supplier
The request is free. What you pay for is connecting with the supplier once we've found one.
And that's not a special rule for requests. It's how the whole platform works. All the numbers are free to look at, cost, stock, retail price, on every product. What you pay for is the connection, the moment you want the supplier's details so you can reach out. It works the same way for a product you request as for any product already in the network.
Frequently asked questions
Is sending a sourcing request really free?
Yes. You can send up to ten requests a month at no cost, on any plan including the free account. You only pay if you decide to connect with a supplier we find for you.
So what exactly costs money?
The connection, not the request. Finding the supplier is free. When you want their details so you can reach out and buy, that's the paid step, a one-time $99 on the free account, or one unlock on a paid plan.
What's the difference between the $99 and using an unlock?
Both get you the supplier's name, address, and email. The difference is the catalog: an unlock on a paid plan also opens the supplier's full live catalog, so you can see everything else they carry, while the $99 reveal on the free account gets you the contact details on their own. The $99 also counts toward Basic if you upgrade within 30 days.
