What a Sourcing Request Actually Costs You

A sourcing request is free to send, on every plan, up to ten a month, with an answer within 30 days either way. You only pay at one point: when you want to connect with a supplier we've found. On the free account that's a one-time $99 reveal (name, address, and email); on a paid plan it's one unlock (which adds the supplier's full live catalog). You never pay to search, to see the numbers, or to submit the request.

So, the request is free, and most people's next question is what it costs elsewhere.

That's fair to ask. Plenty of tools say "free" and then charge you the moment you try to do anything useful. This one has a cost too, but it comes at one clear point, and you'll always see it coming. Here's what's free, what you pay for, and why it works that way, in plain numbers.

What's Free: 10 Requests a Month, Every Plan

Sending a request costs nothing. Not on the free account, not on any plan.

You get ten requests a month. You tell us the product, the brand, and a link if you have one. Our team goes and does the outreach to find a verified distributor who carries it. You hear back within 30 days, either way, whether we found someone or not. None of that costs you a cent.

So the request itself is genuinely free. You're not paying us to go looking. You're not paying to find out if the product can even be sourced. That part is on us.

Where the Cost Comes In: Connecting With the Supplier

The request is free. What you pay for is connecting with the supplier once we've found one.

And that's not a special rule for requests. It's how the whole platform works. All the numbers are free to look at, cost, stock, retail price, on every product. What you pay for is the connection, the moment you want the supplier's details so you can reach out. It works the same way for a product you request as for any product already in the network.

So a product we source for you isn't treated any differently from the rest. Once it's in the network, connecting with that supplier works exactly like connecting with any other. You already know the deal, so there are no surprises.

We want to bring clarity on one thing. Connecting gets you the supplier's details so you can reach out. It doesn't mean you're automatically cleared to buy. Distributors run their own approval process, and some brands limit who can sell them, so the approval conversation is still between you and the supplier. We give you the numbers and the direct line to start it.

What It Costs in Plain Numbers: $99 Reveal or a Plan Unlock

There are two ways to connect, depending on your plan. (If you haven't sent one yet, here's how a sourcing request works.)

If you're on the free account, connecting costs a one-time $99. That's a single payment, not a subscription, and it gets you the supplier's name, address, and email, so you can reach out directly. If you upgrade to Basic within 30 days, that $99 is credited toward it, so it isn't wasted.

If you're on a paid plan, you don't pay the $99 at all. You use one of the unlocks that come with your plan. Basic is $99 a month and includes two unlocks. Pro is $249 a month and includes six. An unlock gets you everything the reveal does, the name, address, and email, plus the supplier's full live catalog, so you can see everything else they carry, not just the one product.

So the two $99 figures are different things: the reveal is a one-time payment on the free account, and Basic is a monthly plan that comes with unlocks included. On a paid plan, connecting doesn't cost extra, it just uses a credit you already have.

What is free on B2B Supplier Hub versus what you pay for: free to search and request, paid to reveal contacts ($99) or unlock a supplier's full catalog on a plan.

That's the whole pricing. No hidden fees, no commission on what you buy, no cut taken in the middle. You can see every plan side by side on the pricing page.

Why You Never Pay Until There's a Real Supplier

The reason the cost sits where it does is simple. You never pay to gamble.

Think about the old way of buying supplier lists. You pay upfront for a list of names, and only after you've paid do you find out half of them are useless, out of business, or don't actually carry what you need. You paid first and hoped.

This flips that around. The request is free. The answer is free. You only pay at the very end, once there's a real, verified supplier on the other side to connect with. Money only changes hands when there's something real to show for it. You're never paying on a maybe. (That's the whole idea behind being able to request a supplier when you can't find one.)

The 60-Day Auto-Refund: How You're Protected

The paid step is protected too.

If you unlock a supplier and their feed goes stale, or they leave the platform, within 60 days, your credit comes back automatically. You don't have to file a ticket or argue for it. It just returns. So if the supplier doesn't stay useful, you're not stuck holding the bill.

The Bottom Line: See Everything Before You Pay for Anything

A sourcing request is free to send, and it stays free until there's a real supplier for you to reach. Ten requests a month, nothing to submit them, and an answer within 30 days either way.

When you decide to connect, you already know the price before you spend anything. It's a one-time $99 on the free account, or one of the unlocks that come with your paid plan. And if the supplier doesn't work out, the 60-day refund covers you.

So you see everything before you pay for anything. If there's a product you've been trying to source, send a request and see what comes back. It costs nothing to ask.

Frequently asked questions

01Is sending a sourcing request really free?
Yes. You can send up to ten requests a month at no cost, on any plan including the free account. You only pay if you decide to connect with a supplier we find for you.
02So what exactly costs money?
The connection, not the request. Finding the supplier is free. When you want their details so you can reach out and buy, that's the paid step, a one-time $99 on the free account, or one unlock on a paid plan.
03 What's the difference between the $99 and using an unlock?
Both get you the supplier's name, address, and email. The difference is the catalog: an unlock on a paid plan also opens the supplier's full live catalog, so you can see everything else they carry, while the $99 reveal on the free account gets you the contact details on their own. The $99 also counts toward Basic if you upgrade within 30 days.
04 What if the supplier turns out to be no good?
You're covered. The 60-day auto-refund means an unlock credit comes back on its own if the supplier's data goes stale or they leave. Worth knowing too: connecting isn't the same as being approved to buy, since distributors set their own approval rules, so a supplier being real doesn't guarantee they'll take your account.
