What B2B Supplier Hub Can and Can't Do: An Honest FAQ
The B2B SupplierHub Team··8 min read
Most FAQ blogs are sales blogs with question marks. Every answer somehow ends in "yes, sign up."
We can't afford to write that blog. B2B Supplier Hub only works if you trust the numbers it shows you, and trust starts with being honest about what it can't do. So in this blog we will answer the real questions, including the uncomfortable ones, in plain words.
The Limits: What B2B Supplier Hub Can't Do
Q 1: Why are the supplier names hidden until I pay?
Because that's what keeps the research free. If the names were open too, we'd have to charge for everything, and that's the old directory model we set out to replace. So we drew the line differently. The cost, the stock, and the retail price are free for everyone. The only thing you ever pay for is the name, and by then you've already seen the whole deal. You never pay to find out if a deal exists. You pay when you already know it does.
Q 2: Will I definitely be able to buy from a supplier I reveal?
No, and this is the most important answer on this blog. A reveal gives you the supplier's name and a direct line. It does not skip their approval process. Distributors vet the businesses they sell to, and some brands restrict who can carry them at all. What changes with B2B Supplier Hub is that you walk into that conversation already knowing their cost, their stock, and what the rest of the market charges. The approval itself is still earned, and hasn't changed.

Wholesale & sourcing
Stop hunting suppliers by hand. Type a UPC instead.
B2B Supplier Hub shows the suppliers in our network carrying a product on one page: wholesale cost, stock, and retail price side by side. Free to search, no card required.
It happens because no verified supplier in our network carries that exact item yet. The network covers three categories today, Electronics, Sports & Outdoors, and Tools & Home Improvement, and it grows as new distributors join. An empty result isn't the platform failing to look. It's an honest answer: not here, not yet. Searching is free, so checking back costs nothing, and a product with no match this month may have several next months.
Q 4: Why does one product show ten suppliers and another show one?
Because that's the reality of distribution. Some products are carried widely, some sit with a single distributor, and we show you whatever is true rather than padding the list. A one-supplier result is still useful information: it tells you the product has thin supply, which matters before you build a listing on it.
Q 5: Is the data always accurate?
It's as fresh as the date on it, and that date is shown on every listing instead of hidden. Supplier feeds update regularly, but no platform can honestly promise a price hasn't moved in the last few hours. So we handle it in the open. Every listing shows when it was last verified, old data looks old instead of pretending to be current, and if a supplier you reveal goes stale within 60 days, your credit comes back automatically. We can't promise perfect data. We can promise you'll always know how fresh it is.
Q 6: Will this make me profitable?
No tool can promise that, and you should be suspicious of any that does. What B2B Supplier Hub does is simpler: it puts the real numbers in front of you before you spend anything, and the margin calculator does the math at your own prices and fees. Whether a deal is right for your business is a call only you can make. Our job is making sure you make it with real numbers instead of guesses.
The Money Questions: What's Free and What You Pay For
Q 7: Is the free tier actually free, or is it a trial?
The free tier is actually free, with no clock on it. Unlimited searches with every number visible, side-by-side supplier comparison, and a 10-product watchlist with configurable alerts. No card required to sign up, and nothing expires. The free tier is how most people should start, and it stays useful even if you never pay, because price-checking your own products costs nothing.
Q 8: So what do I ever pay for?
You pay for only one thing, and it's the moment you decide a supplier is worth having: the reveal.
Here's how it works across the plans. If you're on Basic, which is $99 a month, you get 2 reveals every month. Pro is $249 a month and gives you 6. Either way, each reveal opens up the supplier's name, their direct contact details, and their full live catalog, so you can see everything else they carry, not just the product you found them through.
And if you're on the free tier and not ready for a plan, you can still reveal a single supplier for $99. That gets you the name and direct contacts only, without the catalog. The nice part is that if you upgrade to Basic within 30 days, that $99 counts toward your plan, so trying one supplier first doesn't cost you anything extra in the end. How reveals work, including the permanence and refund rules, has its own post.
Q 9: What do I lose if I cancel?
Less than you'd expect. Every supplier you've revealed stays yours permanently, with their names and contacts. What pauses is the live layer: catalog data and watchlist alerts. Resubscribe and it all comes back. Cancelling never takes back something you paid for.
Q 10: Do you take a cut of what I buy?
No, and this one deserves a clear answer because it's where a lot of platforms quietly make their money.
We take zero commission, ever. Once you've revealed a supplier, you buy from them directly, at whatever price you and they agree on. We're not in the middle of the transaction, we don't mark anything up, and we don't get a cut of your orders, whether your first order is $500 or your 100th is $50,000.
Our business is simple: you pay to open the connection, and everything after that belongs to you.
How B2B Supplier Hub Actually Works
Q 11: Where do the suppliers come from?
B2B Supplier Hub is built by the team behind Leverify, which has spent ten years in wholesale distribution and built relationships with hundreds of suppliers. The network grew out of that world. Every distributor is verified by our team before their catalog appears in results, and the verification is done by people, not software. That's why there are no ghost listings, and it's also why the network grows steadily instead of overnight.
Q 12: Do I order through the platform?
No. Once you've revealed a supplier, everything happens directly between you and them. You contact them, negotiate with them, and buy from them like any wholesale relationship. Our part is done once you're connected, and that's also why there's no commission.
Q 13: Does it work with Amazon?
Yes, in two ways, depending on where you like to work.
The first is on the platform itself. Take a listing's UPC or product name, search it, and see which distributors in our network carry that exact product, with cost, stock, and retail price side by side.
The second way is even more direct. Our freeChrome extensionworks while you browse Amazon: open a product page, and a small card shows you how many suppliers carry it, the lowest wholesale price, and the stock, without leaving the page. If the numbers look good, you can unlock the supplier or add the product to your watchlist right from there.
A lot of sellers end up using both. The extension for browsing and spotting, the platform for digging in.
Q 14: Who is this actually for?
B2B Supplier Hub is made for wholesale resellers. That means people who buy real products from real distributors and sell them at retail. If that's you, whether your business is big or just getting serious, the platform fits the way you already work: find the product, check the numbers, then reach the supplier.
It's also fair to say who it's not for. If you want a list of guaranteed winning products, or a way to skip the work of building supplier relationships, this isn't it. We'd rather tell you now than have you find out after signing up. No platform can really give you those things, and the ones that say they can are selling a promise they can't keep.
But if you're doing wholesale the real way and just want the research to take minutes instead of weeks, this was built for you.
The Short Answer to All of It
Here's the whole platform in three sentences. You see who carries what, at what cost, with what stock, for free. You pay only when you want to open a supplier relationship. And what you pay for stays yours.
What it removes is the weeks of research. What it doesn't remove is the work of being a business distributors want to sell to. Nothing honest can remove that part, and we'd rather be the platform that tells you so.
If that trade sounds fair, searching is free and takes a minute. And if you have a question this blog didn't answer, ask us. If it's one other sellers would ask too, it'll end up here.
